Someone's in the Kitchen with Uma

I saw Uma kissing Mamaji...

Merry Xmas

We had a great time this Christmas in Cleveland.
I got a ton of loot, including a Mini Racer II, to compliment Nanima's big version.
Santa and I got together again, this time with mixed results.  Mommy horned in on my photo with the fat man this year (I think she wanted some face time for her own list!).
Daddy taught me how to tear through rapping paper like an animal.
I got to cook with Nanaji, and Mamaji taught me the importance of hair products (I'll let him explain).
Merry Xmas everyone.
Talk to you next year!

Happy Holidays

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.  We just got back from India and had a wonderful time.  I met lots of my family.  I had so much fun playing with my cousins I didn't want to leave. I saw the Taj Mahal and shopped with Dadima.  I saw camels, elephants, peacocks, and cows up close.   I can't wait to go back.

Indira Gandhi's Memorial

I was so exhausted from playing at India Gate that I slept all the way through the memorial.

India Gate

We got to India Gate before many people were there so I got to run around and play.

Happy Halloween

Hello to the few fans that still check my blog. Since I last blogged I have spent lots of time with my Mamaji, Nanima, Dadima, Dadaji, and Meera Auntie and they have all been so much fun to play with.
I am sure everyone would like an update on my recent accomplishments so here goes. I have finally passed 20 lbs and 30 inches so I'm huge... watch out. I like to repeat whatever I hear and I love to watch construction workers and cranes in action.
I dressed up as a dragon for Halloween and saw all of my friends in music class. Mommy and I visited Daddy at work and I got to eat a chocolate pumpkin. I can't wait for Halloween next year when I get to go trick or treating.
Next week we leave for India, but once we're back I'll post again with lots of pictures.

My first canoe ride

This weekend Mommy, Daddy and I went canoeing on Lake Calhoun and Lake of the Isles. It was a little windier than Mommy and Daddy had expected so it was a little wild at times. I had a great time watching the ducks and the blue heron. Daddy did most of the paddling while I played with Mommy and tried to splash in the water. They were not very eager for me to play in the water until we were back at the shore.

Nature walk

These were pictures from my nature walk with Daddy at Nanima and Nanaji's. The first is a molting cycada, very rare to see, and the second is a wild turtle. We could have seen more, but I was getting hungry for more blueberries.

Fireworks are awesome!

This past weekend was so much fun. I saw my first fireworks (I slept through last year's), specially designed by Nanaji and Uncie Chris, it was very exciting. Then, I went swimming in my very own swimming pool and played in the sprinkler mat. I learned how to pick blueberries (don't eat the green ones) and I had my very first blueberry pie...mmmmmmm. Nanima and Nanaji pulled me around in the red wagon while I gave directions and ate blueberries. Uncie Chris let me ride on his shoulders and swing with him in the sky chair. I also got to chase Ralph around and hone my "woofing" skills (I am now fluent in doggy). All in all, this was a great weekend and I can't wait to go back (I'm hungry for more blueberries).

88% Baby, 12% Fish, 100% Awesome

I had my first swimming lesson today. It was so much fun. Daddy helped me float on my back while Mommy helped me kick my legs. The highlight of the whole thing was when I went under water. There is a whole other world under there. I can't wait to grow gills.

My First Wish

Story Time with Sara

Happy Birthday

This past weekend I turned one. It was very exciting to see so many of my family and friends at my party. We had storytime with Sara, which was lots of fun. And don't get me started on the balloons! No really, don't. I won't ever stop. Ever.
I got to spend the whole weekend with Dadima, Dadaji, Nanima, Tauji, and Taiji (they all had balloons!)
Now that I am older and wiser, I have learned a few things that I thought I should pass on to others: 1. it is better to walk around large objects rather than trying to walk through them 2. just because someone says broccoli is yummy doesn't mean it really is.
