Something that I just noticed, dearest Uma. There are these things called homonyms which are words that sound the same and typically have a very similar spelling, but have very different meanings. An example would be, but not limited to, wale (a ridge, pattern or weave) and whale (a collective term for large marine mammals).
We'll go over some more funny little words where words can have multiple meanings or indications like metaphor, metonymy and synecdoche when we visit in several weeks.
